Rejoice! Stranger Things is coming back for a second season next year

IF YOU HAVE been feeling forlorn at the thought of no more Stranger Things, we have good news for you: Netflix has just announced that Stranger Things will return for a second season in 2017.

The television Gods were listening after all!

Today Netflix confirmed that the series would return for nine episodes in 2017 and shared a little trailer, which indicated that the show would pick up again in the autumn of 1984.

The trailer also provided us with a sneaky glimpse at the episode titles…

What could it all mean?

Netflix revealed that the original creative team behind the series will return, but has yet to confirm the cast for the new series.
